Global Intergenerational Week – UN Decade on Healthy Ageing

Global Intergenerational Week is an annual initiative led by civil society organizations that shines a spotlight on the value of fostering connections across generations. It promotes intergenerational practice—intentional, collaborative activities that unite people of different ages to build mutual understanding, respect, and shared learning.

As part of the UN Decade on Healthy Ageing, I contributed to building digital communication assets for Global Intergenerational Week—an annual campaign celebrating the power of intergenerational connections. To amplify visibility and engagement across global audiences, I developed a suite of creative, accessible social media assets tailored for multigenerational appeal. These included graphics, carousels, and animated designed to illustrate the benefits of intergenerational practice and encourage participation in the campaign. I also crafted messaging that emphasized inclusivity and cross-generational respect, aligned with the broader goals of the Decade. By integrating user-friendly design with emotionally resonant storytelling, the content fostered meaningful conversations online and encouraged communities worldwide to share their own intergenerational experiences.
